Jackie Jackson, whose full name is Sigmund Esco “Jackie” Jackson, was born on the 4th of May 1951 to parents, Joseph Jackson, and Katherine Jackson. He came from humble beginnings and grew up in the industrial city of Gary, Indiana, U.S.  His brothers are Marlon, Tito, Jermaine, Randy, Brandon, and the legendary Michael Jackson.  His sisters are Rebbie, JohVonnie, La Toya, and Janet Jackson.

Jackie Jackson married Enid Adren Spann in November of 1974, but they didn’t have of best of times together because of Jackie’s behavior and infidelity. As a result, they separated a decade later in 1984 and Erin even filed for a divorce but they reconciled a year later. Erin filed for divorce for the last time in January of 1986. What’s more that she put a charge on Jackie that he was physically abusive and even got a restraining order against him. In 1997, she died from a brain aneurysm. They had two children, Sigmund Esco “Siggy” Jackson Jr., and Brandi Jackson.  He then dated popular pop star, Paula Abdul following which he dated popular actress, Lela Rochon.

Jackie would then marry Victoria Triggs in 2001, but they would divorce 6 years later in 2007. In 2012, he would marry Emily Besselink and the two have been together ever since. Together, they have twin sons, Jaylen and River Jackson.

His role as a vocalist and songwriter increased after the group signed up for CBS Records in 1976 and became The Jacksons. Another hit single he was a part of was the 1976 hit single, “Enjoy Yourself”. Jackie along with Michael wrote the 1981 hit single, “Can You Feel It”. He began to perform on lead vocals more with Michael then looking to pursue a solo career. In 1984, he performed as lead vocalist on the singles, “Wait” and “Torture” while also writing the latter. The same year he announced that he was leaving the group while Marlon and Michael followed in his footsteps the following year.

However, Jackie, Randy, Tito, and Jermaine Jackson reformed The Jacksons three years later in 1987. They would then record the theme song for the 1987 comedy movie, “Burglar” titled “Time Out for the Burglar”. They would record their final album, “2300 Jackson Street” a year later.   As a solo artist, his works are “Be The One” (1989) and “Jackie Jackson” (1973). He along with Tito, Jermaine and Marlon starred in the 2009 reality series, “The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty”. The four brothers still go on tours.
