He is the host and the writer of the aforementioned show and the show’s first episode was released on the 5th of April 2009. The show had nine seasons and the last episode came out on the 28th of May 2017. In one of the episodes, he catches a 161-pound Goonch catfish.  

Jeremy Wade has traveled to various other places as well including the Congo and Amazon rain forests.  He has also worked as a host for the popular documentary series, “Mighty Rivers” and “Dark Waters”. His latest work is the TV series, “Mysteries of the Deep”. As an actor, he has worked in the popular Bollywood film, “Allah Rakha” (1986) and the 2014 film, “Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys”.
